This is a cheap and easy fix.
Passenger side door wont lock or unlock.
Turn key twice when opening ie turn right.
A fuse is blown.
Any resolution for this.
I have to lock and unlock the door manually on the inside of the car.
My passenger door locks and unlocks from the drivers side the fob and the proximity from the other door.
But they always lock 2000 black jeep grand cherokee ltd.
If they unlock then the remote fob is not working.
The solenoid is bad.
Again if one door doesn t work but others do the problem could be with the door lock solenoid.
If the doors do not unlock and you hear a buzzing sound as the power is dropped then the actuator has failed.
I can t unlock the door by inserting the key either.

Assuming it s the front passenger s side door we know that the smart entrance control unit and fuses are good because the rear locks work.

Replacing the fuse will correct the problem.

The same actions can be applied to the remote one press drivers door two press passenger doors press and hold unlock button for 5 seconds and rear window will open.
The interior switch buttons and remotes will not unlock the passenger side door.
My guess is that it s either the solenoid or the wiring in the door or the wiring in the door jamb.
Remove the battery ground cable and see if the door locks unlock.

Sound like the same issue you have.
